Hindle Gears, as part of the Hindle Group, was established in 1930. Like its sister companies it has built a reputation for delivering quality engineered products. Hindle Gears specialises in the sub contract manufacture of gears, gearboxes, and associated transmission products.

The ongoing capital investment programme ensures a place in the forefront of manufacturing technology, producing gears and allied power transmission components to satisfy the ever increasing demands of established and new markets. The Company has a UK facility covering more than 35,000 square feet and employs over 75 people including a strong apprenticeship scheme. Customers are predominantly international and leaders in their specific fields, both civil and military.

Hindle Gears also has a wholly owned manufacturing facility in China - opened in 2006.
